Broken people?

Recently I watched a video from Robert, a NLP practitioner and was pretty hit by his statement:

There are no broken people

We develop our personality from the environment we grow up in. We see life in the light of our past experience. Our behaviour is a mere reflection of our past. Only the person that carries pain causes pain in others. Only the hurt mind will create more hurt.

You won’t expect the same outcome from seeds sowed in fertile land and barren land. Would you? It's just common sense that they can never be the same. So is human behaviour.

Everyone does their best in life to cope with the situations. Someone may become angry very quickly because he/she might have had an extremely angry father. Still they try their best. That's the best they can do with their experience and conditioning. Perhaps, you and I might have done the same, if we were in their shoes. A tracing paper cannot hold the weight a cardboard can take. It is as simple as that.

When you keep this in mind, forgiveness comes easily. It is worth doing this simple exercise now:

Close your eyes
Remember an experience in which some one hurt you
Try to remember the other person's actions, words and emotions
What do you see? Are they acting out their pain/Hurt/Anger/Rage/Panic?
Remind yourself that that's the best they could do in life.
Now replay the incident in your mind. How do you feel?

I burst into tears when I did this exercise. It was so emotional and felt so much compassion for the other person.

When you remember that there are no broken people, you would stop judging people. Most of the mind chatter comes from judgement. When there is no judgement, there is stillness and that’s what is divine connection is all about.
Smile now :-)

Happy Book

Most of us choose to carry our negativity (bad experiences, painful memories, negative emotions etc) in our mind. When the negativity in mind is relived (practiced) everyday, it is affirmed and gains more strength. Do this simple exercise:

1) List as many bad experience as possible in 2 min

2) List as many good experience as possible in 2 min

For most of us, the list for (1) will be longer than (2) and the proportion will indicate your negativity

So what if you are negative? Well, you’ll tend to see everything thro’ negativity and feel more and more miserable day by day. But don’t despair. Like negativity, positivity can be practiced.

Start maintaining a happy book that has 3 parts: (courtesy: Robert)

1) Happy memories
2) Daily Abundance
3) Inspirations

Happy memories:Write down happiest memories in your life in detail. You have to describe it in such a way that you can relive it.

Daily Abundance:Start noting down the daily blessings and abundance you receive in life. You'll start noticing that you receive so much and start looking for more.

Inspirations:
You'll be collecting things that inspired you - sayings, people, incidents, pictures etc

Read your happy book whenever you feel negative and see the difference.

The more effort you put into maintain your happy book, the more positive you'll feel

All the very best

Exercise to empower yourself

When you find aggression arround you, this exercise helps you to empower yourself.
Stand up with arms wide open. Visualise sun above your head and draw energy thro' your crown. After filling up your body with the while light from the sun, start transmitting white light from the center of your heart. Beam it as far as possible in all the directions. Negative emotions

There has been a lot of emphasis on clearing negative emotions. While I completely understand the detrimental effects of these kind of emotions, I could not discount a concept I heard in a workshop.

This is what Nigel, an experienced medium said in the workshop:
We come to this world to experience emotions. In the spirit world there is no emotion - it is full of love and just love. We take this physical form to learn our life's lessons thro' emotions. So, there is no point in beating yourself for feeling negative emotions. Experience it with whole heart and send your love to it because emotions are your teachers.

It kind of made sense to me. I used to feel very ashamed and embarassed for my negative feelings and obviously that increases the intensity of such emotions. Now I tell myself, "Nimi it is ok to be angry, it is ok to be sad. That's why you are here" - and you know what, like a magic, the negative emotions dissolve.

I think the following 3 steps are happening here:
1) Awareness of the emotion
2) Acknowledging the emotion
3) Accepting the emotion as it is

All the feas stem from resistance to what is. When you accept what is, you just go with the flow and find peace.

Peace

Query - conversation with Dad

I would like to converse with my father. Can you pls help me in this?

Message from Mother M and the Guides:

Dear Baby,

We see that you have been carrying a lot of baggages and seek for help from outside to get rid of them. Please understand that you have a bounty of power within you which is completely unused. Your father is well and safe. He has loads of compassion and love for you. He looks after you and feels that you do not love yourself enough to tap into your potential. You are just ignoring your power. Conversing with your father is not hard. You do not need a medium to do it for you. If you quieten your mind, you can hear him. But what do you do to make your mind still?

Follow the signs to the road of freedom. You are ignoring all the glaring signs and crying for help. We want you to learn to walk on your own and we'll help you in all the possible ways in your journey. But carrying you on our back is not good because the purpose of your life will be defeated if we do so.

We see that there is so much going on in your mind. Your mind is like a boiling water full of turbulence. We have compassion for you. We see that you feel powerless to change the way you feel about someone. If you feel powerless, you'll be powerless. Do what makes you feel powerful. You will attract more power.

You are in the right place in your life and you have right resources to manifest your desires. One cannot expect more than this. You are in the proximity of a divine being who is more than willing to help you. Ask for help to realize your inner power. Life is a journey. Be patient and learn your lessons. It is completely upto you to use this opportunity.

Your father says that the man in your life is a good person but lacks courage. Give him time. Take this time to develop yourself. If you are at peace in the inner level, your outter life will attract miracles on its own. Set aside time for self exploration. Heal your past. Let go of the hurt feelings. Forgive the people that hurt you. Send love to the people that are still hurting you. They are your best teachers.

We want you to open your mind to endless possibilities. Possibilities beyond your wildest imagination. Write your dreams down in detail. Start living like you already manifested your dream. You'll see that your dreams are turning into reality.

Trust that all is well...

Peace be with you, dear child

Blessings from the heaven

Interview with Angels

Yesterday, I was trying to communicate with my angels (angels and guides are different entities.) using a very simple technique I learnt from Rebecca Marina's ebook (details at the end)

I was very skeptical (yes, still...)

See below my questions and Angels' answers:

****
Dear Angels, Can you please give one of your names please?
GIMMET

(Internal talk: ??!!!&**@!! what kind of name is this? Perhaps, this is all my imagination or I am getting it wrong!)

How do we heal outselves?
Like a child trusts its parents, trust God

If we plan our own life path before coming here, won't changing it deliberately mess up with the design?
Joy of learning comes from deliebrately changing the situation

How do we attract Joy?
Practice Joy

Faking Joy does not resonate with me. I've tried it. It is difficult too...
Don't have to fake it. Do what brings you Joy!

***
You should have seen my reaction when I received the name of the Angel! I had never heard a word or name called 'GIMMET'. I was 95% sure that it was just my own creative thinking :-)

I googled for Gimmet today morning and guess what, Gimmet is a rare name and in the urban dictionary, 'gimmet' means 'give it to me' - wow! How appropriate for an angel!!!

I felt so touched again. I started my day by receiving an angel message which is:

GIVE AND RECEIVE in 100 FOLDS!

nice, isn't it? Have you given anything today - a piece of unconditional love, an innocent smile, a warm hug or even a simple hello to a long lost friend? Why don't you try it?

What do you want to see?

Had another marvellous day with Mother M - I'll share the miracle some other time.

'Happiness is a choice' - This philosophy has occassionally offended me in the past. But it starts making more and more sense as my awareness grows. It is all about simply what we choose to see in life. The video in the following link illustrates it very well. Have a look - I promise you won't be disappointed

Let Go...

You might have heard people telling you to let go...
Let go of fear...
Let go of resistance...
Let go of baggages...

Like me, you might have wondered how to let go.

Here are some simple steps to let go:

1) Acknowledge that you are clinging on to the issue/person/memory etc (address one issue at a time please)

2) Visualise the issue/person/memory etc as an object

3) Send your love to the object (visualising pink light flowing from your heart to this object could help)

4) Visualise angels/God/your soul around you in the form of bright white light

5) Breathe in this white light and breathe it out on the object (deep breathes please)

6) Keeping the breathing going, observe the changes happening to the object (you might see it dissolving or becoming lighter or see some other change)

7) Keep breathing until you feel no attachment to the object

8) If you cannot find complete detachment in a 20 minute session, keep repeating the session every day until you find yourself free

Good luck!

A miracle tool - EFT

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a very simple tool but very powerful in clearing negative emtions. EFT has produced some life changing results for me. The results could be permanent or temporary depending upon what lies beneath.

People have successfully used EFT for releasing trauma and pain as well. Trust me, you would worship me for introducing this to you :-))

Query - career

My name is bharathan
i also take medium studybut if i do for others every thing is doing correct but in my carrer there is no correct guide till noe i have not recevird
Help me

Dear Bharathan,

It is not uncommon that healers and mediums are unable to help themselves. When it comes to us, we become the problem itself and our senses are clogged to receive guidance. So be gentle with yourself

I feel emotional suffocation and frustration around you. These negative emotions block your energy fields to receive light and abundance. I suggest that you release these blocks using Zpoint. Orin's meditation room (see my post on self-help tools) has a meditation to release blocks. That might also help.

I also feel that you have learnt to be safe rather than sorry from a lady, now in spirit. She is coming thro' and says that you can take risks now.

Write down what you would like to do in life if you had already achieved financial security. Then look around and see if there is anything in the list you can do at the moment. Even if you cannot make money from those activities now, it does not matter. Start doing what you want to do, money will follow. You need not take a huge leap; Just take tiny steps of your heart's desires. You'll find what you are looking for.

I am seeing a new opportunity for you which involves an element of risk. Do what you want to do.
Blessings.

Disclaimer: This guidance cannot be treated as the solution to your problems. Decisions you take in your life are entirely your responsibility

Be gentle with yourself

The key for healing is self-acceptance. Most of the emotional issues come from not accepting ourselves as we are.

It is important to understand that everybody is pure and powerful at soul level. It is just that we do not realize it. We do our best in the given situations. If you are born with silver spoon you grow in a certain way. If you born in a slum you grow up differently. But you do your best with the resources and input you are given. This is the best you could. So, there is no point in blaming you or hating you.

Some people cannot look into the mirror and say, "I love you". Try it yourself - some people feel very emotional.

I read somewhere that how you touch yourself is an indication of howmuch you love yourself. Next time notice how you apply your moisturiser or a body lotion after your shower. Are you being gentle? Are is it so mechanical? Try applying that lotion with care and love as if you are applying it on a baby. See if any emotions come up

A homeopath friend of mine used to say, "Have love affair with yourself. Treat yourself as you'll treat someone you are madly in love with"

Next time when you feel low, think for a moment how you would treat a friend or a lover who is in such a situation. Just do the same for you.

If you can't think at all, just grip your wrist and say, "It's ok. All is well"

You'll see a pool of difference

Good luck

4 Fundamental Facts About Fear

When irrational fear is present in your life, it prevents you from experiencing life in its fullest. As fear is one of the worst attention seekers, most of your mind resources are spent on it and you can hardly set your focus on the riches of life. Irrational fears not only distract people from pleasures of life but can also cripple one’s mind in extreme cases.

To handle the fear efficiently, you need to understand it properly. These are the 4 fundamental facts of fears:

1) Fear lives in the future
Fear is always about something that might happen in the future. As far as your focus is in the present, you cannot have fear. When fear sets in ask yourself ‘do I have any problem at this moment?’ You may find surprising relief!

2) Fear is just an emotion
Irrational Fear is an overblown imagination of what might happen in future. When you are afraid that your plane would crash, it is just an emotion not the crash itself. When you recognize this, you’ll make fear powerless

3) Fear is always about loss – loss of life, wealth, respect etc.
The fear of losing it is proportionate to the intensity of the attachment you have on it. Try practicing detached attachment and keep fear at the bay

4) Fear is present only when there is a desire
Fear arises only when there could be a conflict between what you want and what might happen. We build up expectations around life and come up with a concrete picture of how our lives SHOULD be. This rigidity forms a strong foundation for fear. If we are flexible, we can withstand the storm. When we flow with life, fears dissolve. When you find yourself in the middle of the storm, ask yourself 'Why should I resist this?' You may find your strength to let go and flow.

When fear surrounds you next time, try to understand it with these 4 facts. You will be surprised to see how powerful you feel over the fear.

Mother Mary's Purple Diamond

One fine day when I was working in the cozy corner in my office, I saw a vision of Mother Mary with infant Jesus. Mother gave me a big Purple Diamond and said that she was very happy with me.

You see, my visions are not physical. They are mental images and movies. Those were early days of my spiritual work and I thought I was going nuts - 'How can such a great soul come to a tiny soul like me?' was my suspiscion. Besides, I had never heard about purple diamond - heard of blue diamonds and pink diamonds. But purple diamond? I smiled at my creativity for making one up!

After a couple of days I casually googled for Purple diamond. The title of the third entry in the page was something like 'Mother Mary appeared and gave me purple iamond' - I was literally shocked. It was an account of another lady in the USA. She had described her vision and also had interpreted that purple diamond means power.

wow! How can such a thing be a coincidence? Since then many times Mother Mary has appeared in my visions and in my healing sessions.

Once when I was in a healing session, I felt The Mother giving me energy thro' the crown of my head. I physically felt the light passing thro' my body. The healer was holding my hands then and she started feeling very dizzy. She could not stand any more. I pulled up a chair for her and gave her some water. She said her body was vibrating with energy that was not hers. She wanted to give it to me back. She put her palms on mine and we both felt the energy passing back to me. She instantaneously felt better.

Another time Mother gave me a pink crystal which melted and blended with my body. I learnt from the healer that in the ancient civilizations, that was one of the healing modes!

A couple of weeks back I was participating in a workshop where we were asked to get in touch with our guides. I was expecting guides from Satori but Mother M and Infant J appeared! I suppose they are also guiding me.

Recently, I happened to go thro' the notes from a reading a powerful medium gave me about 3 years back. He had asked me to hold Mother Mary and Infant Jesus in my thoughts - Wow!

It all seems to have been planned - but I, an impatient human still don't surrender to the divine:-)

Perhaps, that's also part of the plan :-)

You know onething - I seem to realize a lot when I write my experiences! Interesting, isn't it?

Thanks for reading!

Satori and me

My spiritual guides spoke thro' me for the first time in a trance workshop. My voice changed and I felt physically expanded when I was in trance. After the workshop I forgot all about them because I did not realize that they were my guides.

Oneday, in the mediumship circle we were asked to meditate and get the name of our Spirit guides. In the meditation I saw some angels coming down and when I asked for their name they laughed and said, "you humans always want to put a label on everything". But they also added, "We are from a place called Satori". I had never heard of the word before. So they spelt the word for me S A T O R I. After the meditation I shared it with the group and asked them if anybody had heard of this spiritual plane. Nobody did and as usual I concluded that I imagined it.

It was not until a couple of weeks since I remembered to google for the word 'satori', I realized that they were really my guides and the word satori means 'Enlightenment' in Japanese. Satori is the spiritual goal of Zen Buddhism. No wonder why I was so attracted to Zen way of living.

Only when I am writing this I realize that my life's purpose (see my earlier posting) and my guides have very strong connection. So it is pretty clear that enlightenment is the focus of my life. Long way to go :-)

Our circle is very fond of my guides as my guides are very positive, compassionate and have good sense of humour. They come thro' whenever they are needed. In most of the private readings, guides speak thro' me and guide the sitter with their situation. Some people have sobbed as they felt very touched with the compassion and love they received. I always feel very blessed for having been chosen to work with them.

I hope to pick up at least a drop of their wisdom and compassion one day

Blessings

Blame Game exercise

As per the philosophy in the last posting, we decide what we want to go thro', right? So when we blame somebody for our current situation, we give away our power and feel hopless and helpless. Experts say that most of such blame comes from childhood experiences.

If you are feeling stuck or keep thinking 'if only this did not happen/ if only heshe did not do this or that....' try this exercise:
(Courtesy: rebecca marina)

Write the following question with your dominant hand: (with the hand in which you do most of your activities)

Dear inner child, who do you blame for where you are right now?

Hold the pen in your other hand now, close your eyes and allow your inner child to come forward. Write (with non-dominant hand) what comes up as the answer to your question

The response you get might surprise you -- it surely did for me. You might find the root of the issue - ie the root cause for the repeated patterns in your life.

Once you heal your relationship with this person/event you blame, you'll feel empowered and the situation will start to shift. Try Zpoint for healing the issues

Hope this helps

Blessings

One of many philosophies

I believe that every philosophy stems from the question: 'what is the meaning of life?'
There are many interpretations available to this question in terms of philosophies/beliefs. I think there is no right or wrong answer here. One should go with what resonates with him/her at that point of life. As we progress thro' life, our beliefs change and there is nothing wrong in this.

The philosophy explained below is my understanding from the book 'Conversation with God':

Originally there was a single source energy (God). This energy knew that it is all powerful. (I'll refer this energy as God). There is a difference between 'simply knowing' and 'KNOWING by
experience'. Eg: The child may know that the fire is hot because his parents tell him so. But he only KNOWS fire is hot when he experiences it.So, God wanted to experience the powerful nature. He created many souls from this pool of energy (himself) - like droplets of the ocean. He created a physical world and sent these souls to experience what He knew. He would mask the 'knowing' when He sends the souls to this school called physical world. These souls learn the truth by experience. The more they learn, the more they become closer to the source. Many life times may be necessary to learn the entire Truth. Once it is done, the soul merges with God.

All of us are souls that are on a journey towards God. God is nothing but the infinite love. It is difficult for humans to experience the love in physical form. But when we are in spirit, we
get the taste of it and that's why we want to come back here, learn more and progress towards god sooner. It is difficult to explain this infinite love in words - In a deep meditation, I
experienced it once. There was just love - no hatred, no anger, no sadness, no fear - just the love and bliss (will share the experience later)

Before we come into physical life, we (in the soul form) decide what we want to experience(learn) in the physical world. You can only recognize positive when there is a negative. That's
why this world has suffering. So, before we come into this world, we choose to suffer in certain way so that you can learn how to raise above the issues and be happy. (I am not quite a
fan of this part of the philosopy.:-)

Healers/compassionate people some times get frustrated seeing so much suffering around. They somehow feel responsible (like me) to sort things and burn themselves out in the process.
When you see the suffering in holistic view, perhaps, it does not affect you much.
But this does not mean that we should not help the suffering (people). You should do what you want to do - perhaps, that's the plan we have for ourseves in this world. If I understand
correctly, souls make contracts with each other to teach them lessons. We select our parents, spouse, child, friends, boss, place of birth, even the appearance. If someone is in our life,
that means we have made a contract with this person before coming here. So, if someone is torturing us, he/she is doing it for ourselves. That's what we asked him/her to do before
coming here -- If we see the events and people from this point of view, we'll be grateful to the people/incidents that hurt us.

Though we make our plans before coming, we have the power to change it when we are here. That's what is free will is for. There is no fixed destiny. Life brings you people/opportunity
along our way as we planned but then the outcomes change how we react to it according to our free will. It is a bit difficult concept to comprehend. I am still trying to get the complete
picture.

In a nutshell this philosopy states 'All is Well'!

When we start trusting that everything is part of a grand plan and everything is for the highest good, we just flow with the life... Every philosophy I have read, seems to point to one siingle word : SURRENDER

yeah, easier said than done :-))) But trust me, it is possible.

I am not advocating for this philosophy... just sharing what I learnt. As I said in the beginning, take whatever resonates with you and leave the rest.
If you need more light, feel free to seek. You'll find :-)

Blessings

Self-help tools

As my path has been quite rough, I had to grab help from every nook and corner. I'll share some self-help tools that can bring immediate relief - I cannot guarantee that the relief can last - it depends on your core beliefs. Will talk about core beliefs later.

Zpoint is a powerful emotional clearing tool. You can watch the video of the intro here:

http://www.zpointprocess.com/intro.html

If you can't concentrate to watch or read, practise this meditation:

http://swamij.com/soham-mantra.htm

If you can't do that either, just listen to any meditation here: (just 5-6 min of listening)http://www.orindaben.com/meditations/orinmeditations.php

Once you find some relief from your emotional turbulance, you'll be able to think clearly and act on your issues instead of reacting to the situation

Who am I? Where am I?

Looking back at my life, I keep wondering how interesting the journey has been. Interesting does not necessarily mean joyful - tragedy, tears, rejection, miracles, unexpected twists & turns - oh, sure my biography will be an interesting read:-)

To be honest, my journey has been rough like most of the other mediums'. By looking from outside, people might die to swap life with me - but beware, when you are in my shoes you forget what you have. That's the issue - self realization. I seem to learn my life's lessons from struggles. Every time I fall into a ditch, I manage to come up with more strength and a bit more wisdom. This pattern keeps repeating and I am exploring how I can learn thro' joy. On my voyage, I have picked up/tried some powerful tools - To mention a few:

Graphology/Graphotherapy
Meditations (Different kinds - Art of Living, guided, spiritual, Transcendental etc)
Past Life regression
Self hypnosis
Journey therapy
Rebirthing
Chakra healing
Reiki
EFT
TAT
Zpoint Process
Zensight Process
Psychic reading
Spiritual reading
Theta Healing
Inner Child work
Core belief engineering
Polarity Therapy
Colour therapy
Applied kineseology
Law of Attraction

About 3 years back, in an uphill struggle with a lot of grief and other emotional baggages, I casually requested a spiritual reading. When the medium said I would be a healer and medium I did not believe it. But I was drawn to a mediumship development circle where I discovered my gifts - clairvoyance and trance mediumship. Soon after I joined the circle, I felt my aunt in spirit around me while I was meditating. I saw some visions that did not make any sense to me. But when I shared them with my cousin, she was blown away completely. Then it happened whenever someone around me needed emotional healing. Word spread - more and more people ask for private reading now. I am so grateful for the way Spirt moves me.

I now realize all these tools I picked up come in very handy when I work with people with various needs and various level of awareness. After all, it seems like everything happens for a reason. I do not claim to be an expert in all of these powerful tools. But so far, with the help of my guides, I have been able to take the horse to the water. I cannot drink the water for the horse, right?

However, I am unable to help myself as much as I can help others -- it does not seem to be uncommon amongst healers. I do have my moments but now I am beginning to see them in the broader perspective.

Spirt always tells me to write from my heart and that's what I have done here - no fancy words, no pretence - just as I am

Will write about my guides later.

My journey continues... Thanks for walking with me!

PS: If you need any help with using these tools or guidance from the Spirit, send your specific questions thro' feedback form. I'll try and post my response here. (can't guarantee that all the questions will be answered)

Understanding disagreements

I believe that all of us see the life thro' our past experience. One same episode in life will be perceived by different people in many different ways. That is why there is no absolute right or wrong about anything in life. One country's terrorist is another country's martyr. It is as simple as that.

But most of the conflicts stem from not understanding this simple fact of life. Whenever I get caught in such a storm, I float my colour theory. My colour theory goes like this: For me blue is the best colour in the world. For you green is the best colour in the world. Which is the best colour in absolute truth?

Colour is a perception and so is our life. Let blue be the best colour in the world for me and you can have green as the best colour in the world. So what?

Why should you spend all your energy in convincing me that green is the best colour in the world? Why can't you simply allow me to have my own opinions - rather, why can't you simply not meddle with my freedom to have my own opinions.

Why can't we agree to disagree... Why can't we simply acknowledge that every one is unique?
There are instances when decisions need to be made on colours. But when people are open to see others' standpoint, compromise comes easily. It would be easier to agree to go with green this time and perhaps there will be a time for blue in the future...

Fine, now if you do not agree with my colour theory, Let us agree to disagree :-))

My Purpose on earth

You know what my life’s purpose is? (oh, yes… used the technique explained in the video link given in the last posting)

“Making people feel empowered and enlightened”

I don’t think I have enough knowledge or strength to do it yet as I myself don’t feel empowered/enlightened all the time. But I have tasted the glimpse of it and journeying towards it. I thought of sharing my insights here because teaching is the best way to learn. I’m not a big fan of writing in English and finding time to write is a big challenge at the moment but I am sure the Spirit will show me the way.

More follows. Fire away questions, if you have any
